hi guys, how do i know elements of each sound, i mean is it possible to know the PCM's that used to create the sound for example piano or sax sound , in another way just like the drum sets that u can know what kik or snare used in that drum set , so i wanna know is that possible on the regular sounds too ? cos the problem is that i have a sound in the user so when i am trying to load it in other set it brings me wrong PCMs , any suggestion ?

I assume you are talking about SOUNDs which use SAMPLE RAM here.

When you load a SET and all the SOUNDs and samples you need, you MUST save that SET completely in order for it to load everything correctly next time.

Each SOUND references multi-samples (either ROM and/or RAM) - ROMs are fixed and will always be there, RAM is volatile and will need t be loaded each time you power on.
When you load an individual SOUND which uses RAM samples, those samples will load automatically. Loading a full SET will load all samples that were saved inside it.

Hope this helps

Pete :D

Thnx Pete for your reply but my question is , i have my own set k , and am trying to load a sound from other set which is located on USER2 P1 , its a slice loop groove , so when am trying to load it in to my set it gives me wrong samples , so i tried to load several sounds from USER1 so i didnt get any problem , i got the real sounds, only when am trying to load this sound and other sounds from USER2 i get this problem.

Sort of the same problem happened to me, it's like the .ksf files inside the PCM are mixed up, it's not happening with regular sounds, only with grooves and some user DK. I haven't tried to go deeper into a problem but there is some problem with loading those things.

hey nikola , i solved the problem finaly , just i loaded the set that has that sound , and i saved the same sound to different location (USER2 to USER1) and then i saved the set as new set with different name , and then i loaded my set , so when i go back and load the same sound from the new set it worked and i got the right groove with the right PCM's , finally :) i know its a something weird .
