when I record on my kork pa2x I lose the volume.
Push sound
Push record and the volume is reduced by 50%
very small signal on meters
Input set to max and very loud through pa2x so no problem there.
But if I hit the record button and volume reduced by half.
Settings
Master volume set to full
Channel 1&2 stereo
Global
L+ R to MP3
MP3 slider set to max
Have reloaded ver 20.1 after formating hardrive
Contacted Korg but they were unable to help
Is my pa2x faulty?

My Korg PA2xpro had volume problems too. After a lot of trying all kinds of tricks, including reloading OS etc the problem remaind. Korg took my PA2xpro back and replaced it by a new one (in 3 weeks, which was KUT as we say in Holland, because I had 3 gigs planned..) There was a problem with the motherboard, they said....
best of luck,
