Vertical Lines on the Touch Screen

Does anyone else have "Vertical Lines" going up and down on the touch screen?
I do on my M50-88. They are faint, but still present. If adjust the contast control they can become even more visible.
Just wondering if anyone else has this same issue or flaw?
I would hate to return mine for a new one... if this is typical on all M50s.
Thanks,
Andreuz

My M3 is like that and so are the M50s I've seen in the stores. Actually both of the Triton Extremes I had were like that as well.

There are vertical lines on the screen but they can be almost taken out by increasing the brightness. Even so there are still visible lines in the "grey" bit at the bottom of the main screen.
It's not the best quality touch screen in the world, but it's pretty good for a keyboard in this price range - and it does work very well.

I never noticed it on my M50-61. I'll look at it better tonight..
I have to agree with FifthElement, even if the touch screen isn't the "Best quality"(Which I think it's fine in my opinion), for a $1k keyboard with Touch Screen, it works AMAZING!!!

Bill-
Thanks for verifying this to be true... and for keeping your answer in context. That's all I needed to know.... it was a pretty simple question and you gave me a good answer. This tells me that this is common on all the M50 screens, not just mine.
This was not an issue of whether it bothered me, it was an issue that I needed to know... whether or not to keep or return my new Korg M50 and get another one.
Yes... it can be adjusted to make it less noticeable.
Thanks,
Andreuz

I think we other responders to your "pretty simple question" were just trying to be helpful and allay your concerns rather than trying to "keep in context"!
We'll know better next time!

also my M50-61 has these vertical line (and so has the one reviewed on keyboardmag on last Dec). but in my case they become almost invisible adjusting the LCD Brightness.
in the M3 instead i do not have such lines, anyway they seems quite common on M50's touchscreen.

I'm pretty sure this is normal considering it's not a 'LCD' touch screen seen on Itouch, etc. It's a cheaper? form of touch screen.
Still does the job good I'd say :]

Andreuz,
Sorry about that! You took me the wrong way..
It's that FifthElement guy!! He's always causing problems around here!!!
LOL
Just kidding Fifth Element!!! I do like your input!
Reading back, I see how Andreuz could have taken it the wrong way...

When increasing the brightness they are gone, but I don't like a too bright display so I still see it a little, but it doesn't distract me that much.
I never saw the problem on the Extreme, so I think it's another display (besides it's blue instead of b/w).

I do have the vertical lines, specially on certain screens that there are a lot of vertical lines, like the zone velocity screen. But I sincerely don't care much about them. They don't even bother me. And indeed they tend to clear up a bit once you tweak the contrast knob.
