Hi Korg,
Please make a software for organizing different sets.
It can be done manually at moment the but the process is hectic and takes ages to do so.
I am sure most of Pa800/Pa2x users in the forum would agree with me and would love to have such software from Korg for combining their custom sounds and styles form different sets.
Korg please tell us if this would be done for us.
best regards

Jerry,
If your listening here...how do we get this done?

I will be calling tommorrow to talk about this with you.

If Korg does not want to do it...WE NEED THE FILE ALGORYTHM so we can do it ourselves.

This is a BIG issue with us and causing us much dissappointment in Korg.

Thanks, for anything you can do to help.

Everyone else...please call your country distributor of Korg and tell them about this need...your dealer can give you thier phone numbers.

Hameds,
Have you personally called your dealer AND country's distributor of Korg about this?

They know we want this, and have said there is no specific plan (or resource) to provide it! We ALL must complain loudly to Korg distributors about this.

When you/me/anyone posts here...this does not go to Korg directly. TA person from Korg MAY read some of this...but it is not a Korg official site!

You and everyone must take this to the distributors of Korg.

Also I've already discussed the matter with some friends in Korg Italy who in private agree with us about this, but Korg HQ in Japan will not authorize the necessary work. Apparently, Korg HQ can't see how they will make money out of it. They can't see beyond the end of their noses in my opinion.

Best regards,
Rob

All they have to do is provide specific data and i know there are people who are able to do that. Just to give the packing algorithm.

Maybe we could include this in the upcoming survey.

I think they wont give this specific data, since they are affraid to lose money when we compare our own keyboard together.

Completely true. Korg Italy can't do anything without approval from Japan.

I would actually like to see Korg abandon the "SETS" strategy and instead adopt a simple single .STY format. What is the rationale behind combining styles into a set anyway?

to all software programmers...etc:

Did you happened to know how much is going to cost to develop a software like this?
