ok. since i can't find one anywhere online and no one has replied about a mac version of the em-1 editor, i will assume that it doesn't exist.
so... could someone be kind enough to tell me a good way to store my song and pattern data onto my computer? and maybe a quick rundown on how it would work? the thought of losing my songs is making me just a wee bit nervous.
i have all the cables and am familiar with data dumps but i'm totally uneducated in using my hardware with my computer.
i know this is probably pretty simple to do and troublesome to reply to so thanks in advance ya'll!

I just ran a search for Korg em1 mac and it came up with some software to download. I don't know if it's what you're after though.

oh word?
would you mind sending me the link? i've ran the same search a zillion times and came up with nothing but a program editor for windows.
thanks!

On closer inspection it looks like it's for Windows. Sorry for getting your hopes up. I'm sure someone will come along with another solution.

no worries! thanks a million for actually taking the time to write back haha. i'm thinking of upgrading to the emx so i can use the software and save data.

does anyone know how i would go about dumping my old data from the em-1 onto the emx? data dump? anyone? :)

You may want to join the Yahoo Electribe group. There's a fair bit of info on the EM1 there. You could try searching the archived posts.
