Ok, NanoKontrol owners, i need to hear from your own experience:

1> does the knobs have any sort of "ticks" while you turn them or they are free-runing and smooth like padkontrol?

this guy here says the knobs have a tick and i'm worried!

2> can NanoKontrol send MIDI data in 1 to 1 steps rather than 4 to 4 steps like PadKontrol? it's terrible to use PadKontrol knobs on filters and sample trimming and automation just because it sends MIDI data in 4 to 4 steps, so you can't get SMALL STEPS only BIG JUMPS! I need to know if NanoKontrol sends 1 to 1 steps or 4 to 4 like PadKontrol.

These are THE ONLY 2 things preventing me from buying NanoKontrol and i would REALLY like to know the answer to these!

Thank You

Renan L.B

yeah, the knobs move smoothly.
another think that you should be aware of is that three of the four scenes are pretty much useless if you ever want to move freely between them. if you move a controller (knob/fader) then move to another scene and move it again to a different location... when you return to a previous scene, the values will jump as soon as you touch that knob or fader again.
there is no take-over, it just jumps.
it's super annoying and Korg's customer service is so unhelpful.
it seems like something that could be fixed in the firmware.

all that being said... it's a totally capable (one scene) controller for $60.
you get what you pay for, right?
