simplyelectronics.net - Stay well away from them.
Hi all.
Just a warning to stay well clear of Simply Electronics.
simplyelectronics.net
They are a shower of scam artists and I hope something can be done to shut these guys down quickly. I'm out of pocket for 2 Grand myself, and rather than posting links to threads all over the internet, I've decided I'd post one that pretty much covers it all.

That should be more than enough to warn people off from buying from theses guys.
Kind Regards.

Hi xmlguy.
They are, and even if simply electronics don't give them the money my credit card company promised me that they would cover me.
I will still have to pay 2 months interest on 2000+ Euro, take a hit on exchange rates, plus 30 euro on calls to the UK and 2 months of my life.
It's better than nothing, but I'd hate to see anyone else having to do the same as me. They already have quite a large number of people on the hook right now.
Regards.

Glad to hear that you're probably going to get your 2KEUR back, at least. Of course that kind of hassle is a royal pain. I've been able to avoid such problems by buying locally using sales, clearances, and other discounts, at least for high ticket items. I haven't seen any internet pricing that is worth the hassle if something goes wrong. At a local store, I pay and walk out with my purchase in hand. My internet/ebay purchases are only from sources with a great track record, like Amazon, NewEgg, and 99% feedback ebayers with 1000+ recent reports.
Sorry to hear about that sharp, and thanks for the warning (they look harmelss enough (that's one of the problems too i would have though, "sheep in......

Look what happens when you enter Simply Electronics post code into Google Earth. I think this says it all.
