But i thing that with the external PC MIDI editor i easy to configure, yes?

THe espression pedals seems not hard and not easy to asign medium
levels, only up or down... any idea about?

I just use my FCB1010 with the Behringer software and PC Editor. All the problems seem to arise with UNO. The expression pedals are continuous controllers that generate the full range of controller values.

Rob

You have the UNO installed?

I want to assign filters of cut/off freq or resonance to the expression
pedals and i saw tons of videos and seems that you can't left the pedal
in the middle for example; cause the pedal falls to up/down top

I want to use that pedals like a knob or slicer by my feets and left the
pedal on a value from 0 to 127

Thats possible? maybe have an screw wich you can varying the hardness of the pedals

Excuse my english ;)

Hi David,

My FCB1010 has the Behringer standard software installed. I never installed UNO. The two expression pedals stay exactly where I put them. I can get any control value from 0 to 127. There has never been a need to adjust any screws. I haven't dismantled mine.

Best regards,
Rob

Hi Benok,

The manual and Behringer firmware are downloadable here:

http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/fcb1010.aspx

The PC-based Editor that I use is here:

http://www.mtnsys.com/faq-fcb/PCEditorBeta.htm

If you are buying second hand, you need to make sure the firmware is v2.50 or later. You can purchase an Eprom chip from Behringer with the latest firmware in it. The firmware is not reprogrammable by users unless you remove the Eprom chip and have a specialist eprom eraser/ programmer. There are people who sell chips containing the UNO 3rd party software, but since my FCB1010 had Behringer v2.50 software, I never bothered taking it apart.

Best regards,
Rob

All seems to work fine, thanks ROB

Only one question more ;) It's possible to assign a fuction on
1 to 0 pedals to it works like an button on/off?

...i saw that i only can work with one of that pressed, and my idea is to
have more than one pedal on red (activated)

Thanks

Well, you have 10 other footswitches on the FCB1010 that are on/off and can be assigned to any on/off value you want. I would keep the two continuous pedals as continuous controllers, why waste them?

Rob

My english is not good, excuse :)

these are the pedals that i want to have like an on/off button but i
only can have pressed one. When i push another one the first turn
off.
Maybe it is a possible to program the FCB for to have more than one
pressed, it is?

THanks

Ah... and only a suggestion i bought the nano pack of KORG and are
very good to program with a midi software, really really good ;) nice

Each of the 10 footswitches can be programmed to send any MIDI messages such as Note on/ note off, Bank and Program Change or NRPN sequences etc. The two footpedals can be programmed to send any continuous MIDI controller value. The concept of @on@ and @off@ depends what MIDI values you assign. Suggest you read the FCB1010 user guide which you can download from Behringer's web site.

Best regards,
Rob
