I'm on the fence between both machines. Can someone list all the differences between them both.

Does the both have the same sampling power expandable and factory installed?

Hi mikey,

Note especially that the Pa2xPro comes with 128 Mb sample RAM and can be expanded for $100 to 256 Mb sample RAM. The Pa800 has a fixed limit of 64 Mb sample RAM.

Also if you were to add the optional HD and dual MP3 recorder to the Pa800 to bring its other capabilities close to the Pa2xPro, it would cost more money.

Best regards,
Rob

Michael, I'm a happy owner of a PA800 but I wish I had bought the Pa2XPro which is obviously a better deal for a little more money.

In addition to what Rob mentioned the Pa2XPro is also better built if the owners can agree with me.

So expandable RAM for sampling which many PA800 owner wish they had, you get the MP3 player that I would have to pay extra to get, the HD , the 76 keys and last the 9 Assignable Sliders!!!!! :-( I wish I had gone for the Pa2XPro :-(

One thing though, some like the built in speakers on the PA800 and I do too :-)

Michael,

Looks like the PA2xPro is the way to go. I bought a Pa800 and upgraded to the PA2xpro.

The PA2X is much more powerful than the PA800, it isn't just a bigger version with more keys.
