Right then guys, i just got my kp3 a few days ago and absolutely hammer this thing its f'n awesome. i have some big spending desicions to make and was wondering how the kp3 fits into your setup to give me some ideas.
I'm currently using the onboard drums to create loops and then i'm playing my synth into it and resampling the parts, creating improv songs on the fly. i have a mc303 which i'm planning to hook up to it, so my 2 inputs are full. i also want to implement my soundcard for my pc in this setup.
now what i really want is to intergrate some decks, i have a 3 channel mixer so was going to have one of the outputs on the dj mixer going into the kp3, and the output into the 3rd channel on the mixer, effectively making the 3rd channel a send....
now...this leaves me one input on the kp3 short. any suggestions. i would also like some headroom to expand my hardware, so am thinking an 8 channel studio mixer would be ideal, but where would i fit the kp3 in this setup? any ideas or suggestions are welcome and if you could share what your setup is that would be sweet
