Voltage for Zero 04 (110V - 240V)?

Post by rodeci »

Hi There,

I'm planning on travelling to the US in June and I'm thinking of bringing back a Zero 04 with me. I know that the US voltage is 110v, we in australia use 240v so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the Z4 has an automatic (internal) switch/transformer that caters for 240v by just changing the power cable.?? any help is appreciated.

It should, the Zero8 definitely does. (it says so on the back beside the socket)

If you can find a picture of the inputs/outputs at the back online (Korg's site should have one), it should say 110-240v

edit* got this on the korg UK site, look at the top left corner

In the picture, can someone explain why it says CSA approved - 120V only?

I'm bringing this up because I had a voltage surge, and a failure in my power bar. The voltage indicator displayed 220V. After that I lost firewire and then all audio.
