Hi all. Ive been trying to learn Kids by MGMT on the R3 and can play both hands but cant get them 2 play together. The left hand is an arpeggiated bass and i think the right hand is a sawtooth sound. I need to know how 2 set the splitkey function up (if thats whats needed) and a detailed description would be greatly appreciated if anyone is familiar with the song! Cheers!!

Ive read all the manual. That is why im here. Too many confusing words!! Page 23 doesnt help me either, i can get the split key but cant get it with the correct preset sound for the right hand! If you check out the following link it shows some1 doing what i want but on an Alesis Ion. Iv asked him but he's not familiar with Korg.

Turn off Write Protect. p78.
Change the mode to Split. p23.
Change the split key point. p23.
Copy the timbre you want on the left to timbre1. p75
Copy the timbre you want on the right to timbre2. p75
Save the Program. p74
Or you can use the editor software to do the same thing, but it's easier because you can drag and drop programs with the mouse. You can also see the split point shown with a keyboard diagram. Either way, you get timbre1 on the left, and timbre2 on the right.

first time making a sound, here is kids by mgmt. it's split with the arpeggiated bass line, you need to play the lead on your own with the right hand (starts on A)
Hopefully this link works, I tried to find some free file hosting with google.

Right Click on an InitProgram or one that's ok to overwrite, then choose Open... from the popup menu to load the .r3p file into that slot.

on a macbook to 'right click' for an option menu you tap two fingers on the pad, or hold two fingers on the pad and press the button, or hold down ctrl and click.
