simple question is the kontrol49 compatible with the aLesis ion? i see no files for alesis products in support and I am looking to buy the kontrol49 for this alesis ion
The Kontrol 49 is compatible with any device that allows midi interfacing,you just assign the Pads/Sliders etc on the Kontrol 49 to the corresponding Midi Control change numbers of the Parameters/Controls on your Alesis that you want to modify from the K49
I don't think there are any specific template scenes for the Alesis as most of the template scenes for the K49 are all software based scenes,but there is nothing to stop you creating your own scene for the Alesis with its corresponding Midi implementation.
