They are completely different synthesizers.
not only do they have different parameters (which are what make up the programs - just a bunch of numbers - your cutoff amount, resonance, waveform selection, amp level, etc), but they also are entirely different kinds of synthesizers.
the 01/W is mainly a sample-playing synthesizer - where it plays samples or 'recordings' of real world instruments, usually including samples of synthesizer sounds too
The R3 is an analog-modeling synthesizer (and much more) - it creates the sounds in real time. using the parameters you set to generate the sound out of nothing except some very short sample-like wavetables or mathematical calculations. and then applies more transformations (e.g. the filter settings) in order to change the sound even more, then sums the voices and sends them to be transformed further by the powerful effects section. and so on.
Generally synthesizers outside of their families (like MicroKorgXL/R3/Radias is one family, MicroX/X50/TR/Triton Extreme is another family) are incompatible. its a bit like trying to open a word document in paint - they are different formats. Otherwise, what would be the point? there might as well be one synthesizer that plays all the same sounds.

they are all inherently different and do best at different sounds/situations.
however, for some sounds, you may be able to program from scratch something that sounds similar on the R3. For example you can get an organ sound out of the R3 but it isn't an organ.
