Good MIDI Notation Software - Any Help?

Looking for a MIDI notation softaware program, shareware, that a mate can use to put his ideas down. He's mainly looking to print up concise sheets he can give to his bandmembers. The ability to edit while using the program is a must. Anyone know any good software I can pass along to him?

Finale Notepad... and if you find the 2008 (or 2007 I can't remember) version... it was Free!

There's not much you can do with the free version of note pad!

If money is not a variable, I recommend Sibelius.
