Can't get effects in my combi patch.

Hello, I have a Triton LE and I can't seem to get any effects on my timbres in Combi mode on C127 (the only open combi patch). I've been messing with it for 2 days now and I'm getting cranky according to my ol' lady. I keep switching over to Program mode to check and make sure that I have the same effects settings from the original timbres. Still the sounds are dry as can be. I've been scouring the guides and looking for on-line tutorials. Is there a way to copy a Timbre with it's effects into a Combi? All I can say is my old U-20 was a breeze compared to this (not saying it was better, just easier). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS If I use one of the already pre-set factory Combi's and edit it, there's no problem. It's just when I'm writing a Combi from scratch on C127 that I can't get the effects to turn on.

you can set the effect routing and sends in the IFX: Bus page.

for example you could route timbre 1 & timbre 3 to IFX bus. then set timbres 2, 4, and 5, with various different send levels for the two MFX.

in the IFX: Setup page you can also set output bus or send levels for the output of the IFX module.

next to the FX type selection in IFX: Setup you can also choose to turn that effect on/off, same for the effect type selection for the MFX in the MFX Mainpage

Thanks, for the quick response. It took me a few minutes to understand your instructions, but I did understand, I conquered, and got the effects working!! I'm starting to make sense of routing the FX's. Next I will tackle making assignments to the knobs. Any words of wisdom? Thanks again
