Hi all,

after being happy owner of an R3 for abut a month, I have created some sounds which can be downloaded at

http://www.axxim.de/korg_r3/

They are sorted in 4 categories. I will try to add new ones monthly, if iI get the time for it!

Enjoy

Hi and many thanks for posting those sounds: I'm a newbie on the R3 and your contribution is very much appreciated!!!
However, I'm a newbie concerning the R3 editor software as well...
Although I've been able to open ".r3l" format files, I'm unable to open yours which are in ".r3p" format: am completely and uselessly dumb or what???
Thanks for your help...
Chris

r3l files are library files, and are opened by the 'file/open' procedure
r3p are single program files, and are opened by selecting a single slot in the editor, right clicking it and selecting 'open' (or 'load', I'm not at home so I'm not really sure as I can't check).

R3l files are whole libraries of patches - ie settings for all 128 patches. r3p files are single patches which you have to load from the editor (right click on a memory slot in an editor library window and select Open.

Hi,

I thought of a library file when at least I have about 50% to fill it

Good sounds, my friend. I'm always happy to see that there are more people uploading their sounds :D
I must say that your vocoders are very good, especially the robotic one. And the 'Just dance' sound is a good idea, too :)
keep them coming.

hey love the gaga sound! thanks, i play in a cover band so we have to try and learn just about everything to please everyone.

i'm trying to get some sounds to do 'poker face' , any suggestions?

right now i'm using L7 odysey bass for the bass line, but have no idea what to do for that little lead riff.. I'm way to much of a noob to create anything good yet..

Hi JMenton,

basically it is the same sound of Just Dance. I would call it Dirty-Steam-Pan. The riff is 30 steps long and therefore too long for the R3 MOD sequenzer. It also has tied notes when the tone changes. I will set this sound in my page as single lead soon. You can try it with the Arpeggio (is set to on) but you will get better results if you play the riff yourself.
