My Trinity is dead

Hello all,
It has been a while since my last posts on Trinity Forums,

I have a Trinity Plus with flash ROM, fixed in my studio and never moved it for about at least 2 years,turned it on the rigg (Trinity included) about 3 days ago and nothing came up on the Trinity display nd no soud came out.

changed on/off for many times, changed the cable, opened it and checked the fuse, pressed back all cables and boards in it and still no sign of life.

I am not sure if this is a power board failure or the flat battery could lead to something similar.

If you have any related information or had the same problem please help me.

i had same issue and one day I opened the board and noticed the sound/amplify chip is burn

and broken in pieces.

I had to bring to korg service and replace it that took me 4 weeks. now it's back

Back from the Korg Hospital, with a tag of 150$, the main issue was power related where the power board was fried somehow (with a smell) without the fluse being blown.

Also the amplifier chip had some damage...

And tha is according to the technical guy, so take it or leave it... it is working now fine.

The funny part is that I didn't loose any sound at all.

Congrats.

Many times is best to send the keyboard to the service center first, than seek for info on DIY.
