problems sending/receiving data with MIDI USB interface

I must say in advance that I'm italian, so please forgive me any mistakes... I only hope you can understand my trouble:
I have problems in sending and receiving data (PGC, SNG, etc. ..) with cable midi usb from/to Trinity Plus (OS 2.4.1) to/from PC (OS Windows XP).
I must say that the USB MIDI interface works correctly (eg with Cubase all the VST works right).
The settings in the Global P2 are all set correctly: all "Filter" are enabled (including Enable Exclusive), the protections are all disabled.
I used both Trinitro and Midi Quest XL 10, but them both have problems in receiving and in sending data:
- Trinitro charges the loading bar until the end, then it stops and the message "No Response from Trinity" appears.
- Midi Quest charges the bar, but after a few seconds it freezes, so I've to click on "cancel all", and strange symbols appear instead of my combinations (a sign that something has been sent at least -_-'but sent wrong! )
What kind of problem it could be? Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance
