Greetings all,
My RADIAS (module) is stalling on boot up with the following error message:DRUM: Checksum Error.
I hope there is a simple solution for this. I'm away from home till mid April.
Cheers,
Jim

Hi EJ2,

even if I don't have a Radias, this kind of message means that there is an error in the memory data. Probaly the drum PCM data that is corrupted. This may be due a faulty memory chip or a failure in the PCM programming. I don't know if the PCM data can be reflashed by the user, so I pass the ball to an aknowledged Radias expert like X-Trade ;)

Haha, thank you!

To be honest, I'd recommend you contact your country's KORG distributor Support Team. It sounds like a hardware issue or some corrupt program or sample memory or data, like axxim says. If you can't get into the Radias then you can't load any programs to fix the problem.

You may be able to reload the OS by re-running the OS v2 update process, but I'd still recommend you talk to KORG first and see what they have to say. You may have to send it back for them to flash the OS ROM chip.
