Padkontrol preloaded scenes (midi device not specified )

If u guys are having trouble with preloading scenes and getting the pop up * midi device not specified * go to the padkontol editor librarian ; prefernces and change midi in to port a and midi out to CNTRL ... hope this helps . i was frazzled on this one till i googled it and it led me to a future producers forum . peace out ya'll .... now to work out what to do wit the scenes ...

Make sure you have actually assigned the driver to the device using the program in start > programs > KORG > USB-MIDI Driver > Install Korg USB-MIDI Device
when you run the downloaded installer, that merely puts the drivers on your system, but windows will still think its own incorrect drivers are better. this is why it is necessary to use the utility to force the drivers on the device.
You may also have to repeat this step if you plug in to a different USB port.

I have done this but it still doesn't show up

however I think this is my real problem and I have no clue what to do:

Are you using the latest driver from the KORG website, or the one that came on the CD? The one on the CD will probably be outdated.
you may also need to check that you haven't exceeded the windows registry 10-device limit... I have no experience of that but it has been mentioned a number of times on this board.

as I said, I have no experience of that...
Just do a search of the forum for registry limit or something..
Also, what version of windows are you using? your screenshots look a little strange... looks like XP?
