Need help with 2 layers.

Post by Gurty »

Hello, i got the korg radias for 5 days. So i'm pretty new with it.
I'm trying to make my own sounds in the "Users category".
And i got 2 layers:

T1=Trance (Drum kit)
T2=Inittimbre2 (A lead)
T3=_______________
T4=_______________

I've made a kick looping sound in T1, But i get stuck with the lead because,
When i press with Timbre select 2 (the lead) it still gives me the sound of T1.
So actually the (T1=Trance Kick) is in T1 and T2 (in both). So how do i make them apart/splitting? So i can make in T2 the lead and T1 the kicks and snares from Trance kit?

Hi Gurty,

It depends what you want to do. I think you are talking about editing the lead without hearing the trance track. If so, you can mute/unmute each timbre pressing the buttons EXIT/NO simultaneously with the TIMBRE SELECT number you want to mute.

If what you want is to play them separatedly on the same keyboard then you have to define the key zone for each timbre.

I hardly recommend you to use the Radias editor, which besides of offering a comfortable way to edit the sounds will give you a better overview of all the functions it has.
