orientation from Pa2x experts regarding button damage

First of all ...let me send my best regards to all of you.
Now to the point...I am not an experienced "do it yourself repairman" and unfortunately , somehow I pressed too hard on the "+ upper octave button" ...so hard that it is depressed permanently and a bit tilted to the + sign. My question is... what precautions should I take in order to not damage anything if I try to repair it. I am too far from a Korg Service center . I would like to have my otherwise perfect unit in shape , but I am afraid I could mess up the unit by my lack of experience and knowledge in the subject. Help is greatly appreciated.
Thank You
