Korg already has the M50--but it's always possible they would make another keyboard based on the M3 synthesis engine.

M50 is still a workstation ... this is purely a performance synth apparently ...think X50 no Seq, No sampler ... etc etc

I still don't get it. the M50 is more like the X50 with a sequencer (rather than like being the TR). thus the PS60 is what... just an M50 without the sequencer?

are you sure its a S&S engine keyboard?

do you have any links or other information to back these up? I can't seem to find any mention of it.

Is a supposed leak from SonicState, but I find no reference whatsoever in the main SonicState site. I already added an RSS to follow its news on KorgFans.

It can be true, if you ask me. Frankfurt MusikMesse is around the corner, so we finally might have news from Korg tomorrow.

If The Monotron rumors are true, I'm 99% sure I'll have it on pre-order.

It's great to see Korg doing something analogue, but that way of packaging it doesn't make a lot of sense to me :?

I agree. I understand the call for "simplicity" and all that, but at a certain point, a product becomes TOO stripped down to be of practical use. What niche (or, rather, microniche) is this going to fill?
