Korg microBAG

Post by wildzeke »

Did Korg change the design on the microBAG? I bought this bag from Amazon to use with my R3. However, the bag was too small. The design looked different from the picture. The straps were connected to the edges instead of the center. I did get a refund for the bag, I really would like to get a bag for my R3. I am afraid if I order it from another company, it would be the same smaller bag and I would be paying for shipping costs again. Can anyone confirm where I can get the correct bag to fit the R3.

Thanks.

if it doesnt work, other forum members say this bag fits the r3 perfectly:

it is a pedal bag, but its dimensions match the R3 fine. I personally ordered one two days ago, ill get back to you on it.

also, did you buy from a reputable source? I doubt it (there wouldnt be much profit and they probably wouldnt have refunded you), but they could've shipped you a fake bag as well.

also, this may sound like a dumb question, but your sure it wasn't the microkase for the microkorg?

This is the bag I ordered.
http://www.amazon.com/microBAG-Tote-Sty ... 256&sr=8-1

The bag actually look like this one:

But I don't see any thing about the Microbag Messenger on the Korg site. So maybe it is a new design, or an old design.

hmm, you might want to tell amazon that they sold you the wrong product... unless u bought from a different dealer on amazon, in which case u can contact them or tell amazon that its under the wrong listing

but if u want an unofficial bag that fits the R3 perfectly according to some members, check out the one i linked. again, mine should be here mon. or tues, so i can tell more about it then

Bag's perfect! Fits the R3 snug enough that it won't get damaged, but loose enough that u can tuck your mic, power unit and audio cable right inside. Even comes with velcro tape, so u can fasten ur R3 to the bag and be sure it won't fall.

As in added bonus you'll never need to take your r3 out of the bag, the back opens wide enough on both sides that you can route cables through as well

I finally got a reply from Korg -
Thank you for your email.

I have confirmed, the R3 does not fit the MICROBAG. Please contact the dealer you purchased it from for an exchange.

Thank you,

Amy

In other news, instead of MF shipping me the petal bag, I got a Chorus petal instead: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... D=26018719
