SV-1 Editor Software Update - 8 favorites

Quick question...
Do I need to backup my 8 favorites before I download the software updates? Will the update restore the sounds back to factory sounds for the 8 favorites, or will my changes remain untouched?

Oh, and on a side note. I now know 3 people who have went out and bought an SV-1 after hearing it live with my band. The proof is in the tasty grooves. Nuff said...
