The Easy Start Guide is a good place to start.

Then the Operations Guide will give you a bit more detail in how to do certain things.

The Parameter guide is only really useful if you're programming your own programs or combis. Which you may want to do if you're setting up for live performance or just want to layer something.

The main buttons you'll use a lot are the ones for selecting Program and Combi mode.
If you're not happy with the dynamic response (velocity sensitivity) you may want to go into Global mode and change the Velocity Curve, but you won't spend much time in Global mode because it is only where settings are made.

A program is a single sound. Sometimes it may have interesting features like different parts layered together. However a Program can only have two layers.

Combi mode is where you'll find a lot of 'performances' - setups consisting of a number of programs, and often a drum pattren and/or bassline. You can turn the drum pattern or anything else which plays itself off by turning the Arp (Arpeggiator) button off.

If you have any more questions, you'll find an X50 & MicroX section in the forum.
