Gm into TR

Post by timtrax »

I've recorded my first GM mid file from Cubase into the TR sequencer. I have patch changes on all channels. All recorded well except the drums. Does anyone know a Ch. Gm patch number that will make the drums what Korg calls program 'g002:d' Is there a certain MSB, LSB, I should use? If the answer is 'no', I guess I will record the drums with no patch ## and make them 'whatever' and save.

2. Is there a 'slave' setting for the Korg sequencer (so I make Cubase the master and Korg the slave)
Gear: Korg Tr76, Korg pa700, Roland E50, M-audio 49 Key Rig, Roland BK9, Korg Micro-X. Logic for audio, Cubase for midi.

Not sure about #1, but for #2, yes, you can sync the TR to an external clock. It's under the MIDI settings in global mode, and I can't remember the exact parameter name, but its options are Internal and External; it should be pretty obvious from the context.
