ok , ive been a solid member on the board for 3-4 years now and can garuntee ive posted more track demos than anyone around here since i joined ... because its good to get feedback , good OR bad .

My point ??? .. well , where is everyones music ??

i always feel people hold back cos they are'nt confident with their music ,
but it doesnt matter .. people will more likely encourage you than down your music ... and any constructive feedback will only help better your music !
Maybe they will find solutions to your problems allowing you to step up .

COME ON PEOPLE ... lets hear it !! ..
the forum used to be fun , with demo's and even battles / competitions between x-tribers ... now it just seems to be more about issues than music .

Sounds anyone ???

Haha, leave it to reddone to get people pumped in these forums; how you been dude? haven't seen you here in a while. I haven't been doing a lot of solo stuff as of late, two old friends and I have been getting together writing stuff since the beginning of the year, we will soon start playing some live shows. I have also been helping another friend of mines band with some synths on their live shows (although that was for only 3 presentations). I have been able to do a couple of doodles; here's a link with 2 tracks I've been working on:

I'll keep you posted for some more stuff, hope you like it...

hey reddone,

i leave you with a demo of a hiphop song i am currently working on, you will see that the styles are very different, hope you like it, and the others too of course. it's not finished either and needs some heavy EQ.

I will record some of my patterns, I dont have much full songs lately.

I have a horrible habit of playing around with a pattern and bopping my head for an hour, then never go back to it. Same with my computer, its jam packed with 100's of 12 bar long files. Nightmare. I cant get out of the jamming mindset. Im planning on getting traktor for my decks, so i can juggle and scratch, set all my gear up and get back to my roots. Ive had enough of sequencers.

anyway, i see your an Aberdonian, are you going to Rockness? That is on my home turf. :P

Thanks for the complements. Most of those clips come from AM radio shows, other clips are picked up from youtube. I have this small battery powered AM/FM radio which is connected to my SP-404 along with my PC; I spend HOURS listening to the radio and playing old movie clips and odd video interviews on youtube; everything is recorded on the SP-404, where I later chop them up and process them with some effects. The result is usually pretty hypnotic and you unintentionally end up giving a theme to your tracks.

good efforts im hearing , everyone is completely different .

skinnywhiteboy , your stuff it well made ... something you done with the patterns on "taster" makes it listenable in different ways , like there is a structure that can be listened to diferently depending where you start the track ...im sure you know what i mean lol . quite abstract yeh .

TIMfromtexas ... bizzare stuff lol , made me smile thruogh the odd vibes ..
sp-omecallmetim ... sounded like hip-hop / wildwest cowboy music .. lol
I'll be interested to see what you come up with next .

keep it coming boys , but make fresh posts for others to comment directly .
Cheers

Heres a couple of tracks that I recently made:

This one was made with nothing but the ESX-

http://soundcloud.com/dr-feelgood/her-s ... -2-reprise

As well as this one, 100% ESX-

http://soundcloud.com/dr-feelgood/the-beach-act-ii

And this one was an EMX/ESX tune, with all the synths and extra sounds provided by the EMX and the ESX handling the drums-

Thanks for listening!
