R3 arpeggiator not looping with DAW host

hi Folks, new to the forum!

i have had my korg for over a year and have always had the same issue conserning the arpeggiator.

i find that when i am using the arpeggiator it stops when my host DAW (cubase studio 5) loops, it's the same if i hold the key or use the latch function.
i have set R3 midi clock to EXT USB, my DAW is sending tempo, midi notes and all other info as well as reciving it, i even have CBst5 ticked to send start message (enve unticked makes no change) when it loops at the markers, R3 stops playing, this is the same even with an extended midi note for the length of the loop.

arpeggiator on my Novation Supernova doesn't do this

has anyone else had this issue? or know whats going wrong where?

Cheers

I have the same problem. I'm using my Roland Fantom X8 as controller. Anybody out there have a fix?

Is "MIDI Clock Follows Project Position” checked or not on the Cubase Synchronization settings for the R3 midi output port?

Does it stay playing and in sync on long tracks that don't loop?

Normally what I do for arps is that I record them and then I no longer need an arpeggiator. A sequencer doesn't need an arpeggiator to play arpeggios. Notes is notes. And sequencers are more powerful than arpeggiators. So whenever I have a sequencer involved, I let it do the automatic notes while my fingers do the rest of them. :)
