Ive been using the emx for a while now and im not satisfied on how the lfo doesnt retrigger itself every time you push stop/play but i love the sound that i can get with it so i was wondering:
Is there a synthesizer out there that has the same sound engine as the emx?
Thanks!

Supposedly, yes.
In reality the Radias engine is considerably more powerful than the EMX with the focus being on actually 'being a synthesizer' (sound design) rather than 'making beats'.
If the Radias is too expensive you could also consider the R3.

I wish i could afford a Radias... sigh
Is there any alternative other than korg synths?

I have the R3. I haven't been able to create bass sounds as good as the EMX delivers. It's a more detailed synth, and I KNOW I'm not using it to it's full potential, but the EMX is much more intuitive to me. The R3 takes lots of work, and to get the same visual approach, you have to use the software for it.
If you can afford it, I'd go for Access Virus. They have cheaper/older models on ebay (starting around $500 on a deal). I've also seen Dave Smith with really nice analog type sounds with the mopho and the tetra. The Tetra looks awesome, and thats around $800 I think. Really good for analog synths.

I love my radias and use it live to recreate some parts I make on the emx.
