Radias Midi problem PLEASE help

Hi gang .
Can one of you lovely people help me.
I have a Tascam 8 tack that i use in my band for Backing tracks.
I used to run a midi lead out of the tascam into my JP 8000 so i could play some arppeggiator stuff and play lead keys over the top , had it running like this for several years with no problem.
Now my radias as taken over the JP 8000 duties im having problems.
My Radias is set to auto but if i play say a lead line on the radias as the tascam is running im often getting stuck notes also if im playing the arppeggiator it will come in a little late and sometimes not exactly in sync,
I have to stop the arp and start again or look for the stuck note and press it again to stop it.
Funny thing is though i have midi cable coming from the midi through on the Radias to the Midi in on the JP 8000 and this still plays perfectly.
As you can imagine this is not good in a live situation and i will be going out gigging with this set up soon.
So over to you guys, can you help me?
Regards
Franny
