Does anyone know if there is much/any compatability between m3 and Oasys? I've had a look through the forums and maybe the question was asked a while ago.
Reason is I was wondering if I could import sequences/samples/programs from Oasys to M3 without redoing everything. Oasys has 2 Gb RAM which is almost full.
Thanks in advance,
Tony.

Thanks Sina.Sina172 wrote: It won't work. They are two different animals. The architecture of the OASYS is VASTLY different (other than the HD-1 parameters which are identical to the M3's EDS-1 Engine).

You can import samples in Akai, WAV, AIFF, and KSC formats from both keyboards, but you can't import programs, combis or sequences because the architecture is so different. And you also need to understand that EXi Programs are IMPOSSIBLE to create with an M3 because it lacks the EXi capability to begin with.
If they WERE compatible, the Triton, Trinity, even 01/W would've been compatible as well. It doesn't work that way, though.
That's why I have several Triton's and TWO OASYS 88's in the studio.
