EMX-1....patterns will not play?!?

is this machine finished?

all other knobs/parts work....when i push play on patterns,no sound!!!

no lights indicating the parts are playing either.

Have you tried the factory reset option?

its at a pawn shop...really cheap.how do i reset it?i dont have manual.

Hold down the transpose/solo key and the write key at the same time- then turn on the power. The play/pause key will blink....... press it and the EMX will be initialized. Good luck- hope it works.
