I am having a little trouble with the step sequencer/arp setting of the radias lately.
On a current programm I have 3 Timbres each of them on a different MIDI Channel (G1, 2, 3) for use with an external sequencer.
Timbre 1 is assigned to the Arpeggiator, Timbre 2 to Step Sequencer 1 and Timbre 3 is selected so I can play it on the keys.
The problem I am running into is when I turn on the Step Sequencer Timbre 1 AND 2 are getting triggered.
Are the Sequencer and the Arpeggiator somehow connected to each other or am I mixing up something with my MIDI Messages?
Would be nice if someone could help me out

one thing that might be happening is that the channel on the external sequencer is set to trigger "any" channel. Your settings are using Channel 1 as the radias Global midi channel hence the 01G in you midi settings.

I had a similar problem in cubase with timbres 1 and 2 armed with the sequencer and the appregiator. I set their channels in 01G and 02. When in cubase my midi channel is set to "any" and I ve got timbre 1 selected then both channels get triggered. I think this is because timbre 1 set to global channel and therefore will send midi message to both channels.

Just change the Global setting>P04>Midi channel (global channel) to something like 16. And simply make sure that the right midi channels in your daw trigger the right midi channels in radias.

In the Radias manual it states that the arpeggiator and step sequencer will always respond to the Global channel, in addition to whatever channel is assigned to the timber that the sequencer is assigned to.

So if you want to stop this from happening, you want to move your first timbre away from 01G

Thx! Yes, it was the Global Channel indeed. Now that I moved it to Channel 4 everything works fine
