Very Weird Dumper/sustain pedal problem on Korg Triton LE :-
Posted: Mon Aug 16, 2010 10:31 am
Hi all!!
I've just register to this Forum for this problem, I hope you can find me any solutions or suggestions :-)..
The problem occurs to a friend of mine, and we are very far each other, so I heard about the problem only via Telephone or private message.
Also, i'm not very used to Korg Synths..so..I need your help!!! :-D
Here it is:
- We don't really know what she do, but EVERY time she use the Sustain/dumper pedal, all the note are shifted one semitone up (like bend +1/2). (It is like the Pedal act NOT as a sustain pedal but as a Assignable Pedal with a sort of feature)
- This occurs for every sound (so i guess for every combination or program)
- The Dumper pedal is attached to the "Dumper" jack and NOT to the ASSIGNABLE Jack.
Also, we do an Hard Reset (Holding ENTER+0 while power the Triton LE on).
We lost EVERY SOUND, ALL...but the weird thing that the sustain keeps the note one semitone up REMAINS!..
Please, any suggestion??
Do you heard or have seen something like that??
My problems are these:
1) Please can you give me a sort of HOWTO because I'm not in front of the Korg and I have to "describe" what to do to my friend.
2) How can I restore all the sound after the Hard reset?
Sorry but I'm not used to Korg Synths and my friend is quite desperate.. :-)
Any HELP would be VERY APPRECIATED!!!
Please ask me if something is not clear!!
Cheers and Best regards,
Saverio
