Hi,
I'm trying to make some backing tracks to play live over. I usually record with garage band, but, I want to use the sounds from the Korg.

I have a mac book pro if that makes any difference.

Is there a relatively simple way to do this?

You need to connect the Main L and R audio outputs from the TR in a stereo configuration into your macbook pro.

Simplest way to do this is through an adaptor cable that goes from two 1/4in mono jacks (from the L/Mono & R) to a single stereo 3.5mm (headphone type) jack on the macbook's input port.

For better quality and more professional options, you'd want a USB or FireWire audio interface.

Then you can record audio tracks in Garrageband with the TR, just like you would with a guitar or any other instrument.
