please help me set up my recording

Post by ekord123 »

I have a few questions that may seem very simpl, but I have so far not been able to receive any straightforward answers. I have an R3 and am using fl studio 9. as of now I have a usb cable and a midi interface, both of which allow me to use my r3 as a controller (using fl studio sounds). I want to use my R3 sounds instead, what do I need? when I have it connected to fl studio with a usb cable, I cannot figure out how record the r3 sounds. whenever I try to select an input in the recorder it tells me to sellect my ASIO driver in audio settings, and when I do THAT, the inputs availabe are only my laptops external mics. The R3 driver is installed in my computer, so I just need to figure out how to properlly connect and configure my r3 to fl studio so that I can record its effects directly, rather than use it as a controller. I heard some people say you need an audio cable along with the usb, so some specificity would be a HUGE help. Thanks in advanced!

UGHHH

1. Go back to the Korg Radias / R3 Section
2. Look at the stickies
3. Find the one on '- NOT RECEIVING SOUNDS FROM USB/MIDI? Read this -'
4. ????
5. PROFIT!

I guess stickying isn't enough, guess we need flashing lights next to the post...
