here are some questions about the upcomming model...

Do you think the next Korg arranger should have audio styles?

Do you think the next korg arranger should have knobs for acces to sounds in addition to the sliders?

Do you think the next Korg arranger should have a Karma engine incorporated next to the style engine?

Do you think the next Korg arranger should have multiple synthesis engines?

Do you think the next Korg arranger should have DNC 2 (or just an even more improved accoustic instrument simulation) or AP synhesis?

Do you think the next Korg arranger should be equall to an M4(or whatever the next gen workstation may be called) with as extra an arranger added to the package?

Do yopu think the next Korg arranger should have even more masterkeyboard abbilities and integrated screens to controll a remote VST host on a laptop or PC?

For me the asnwer to all these questions would be YES...

But then i am not the average arranger player....

What about a built-in recording desk with mastering tools?

My answer is "NO" to all those questions - as Nedim indicated, I just could never afford it - it would be bigger than an "OASYS" arranger!!!!

Cheers

Pete :D

I Want:

Audio Styles
We don“t need karma because the keyboard is an arranger ....
Korg will explore the DNC on the new arranger ...
Control vst on dedicated page...
dedicated upper for vst... so we could play the vst on the pc when we called this upper....
2 giga flash memory for sampler...
Better voice processor with auto-tune like the old pa1xpro had
bigger and better screen with more resolution...
option to edit txt on keyboard....
haham..... faders motorization..... the new master keybs gen have it....
USB 2 or 3 on host ....
vst and vsti running onboard... but that is too dificult for many reasons....dedicated CPU for plugins... os for running vst.... (maybe linux...) and problems for authorization on commercial vst like we see on sm pro audio v-machine (i have one myself).

That would be the hefty price tag of 6 grand for those kind of features :)

Hi,

Today I played with the Yamaha Tyros and was amazed by the reality of the SA2 sounds. For instance if you play a note en then play directly a note a octave high or low you get a noise sound that's like the real thing.
How Yamaha does this I don't know but if they can why can't Korg make that and why do we not have it available on the pa800.
The sounds on the korg are very good but not as realistic as the Yamaha.
So My wishlist is:

1 Realistic Sounds as SA2 technic.
2 Already buildin addon kit's ( so you can add a harddrive without buying a kit)
3 Sample Mem extension of 1GB.
4 Develope real korg styles for indian, turkey etc.. communities.
5 Better larger Display and buttons
6 Internet direct connection.

CRAP! I never had a problem with a Roland joystick why can't KORG make a reliable joystick? main reason I didn't buy a Triton Extreme, now all the others that you say is mostly commen today, now is KORG going to get innovative and invent something new that someone else does not have? aaah not too many companies with innovative keybaords it looks like same thing year after year, they are reinventing the wheel.

I would like to have :
-A good screen, visible under 2 or 3 PAR64, or outdoors.
-LED's that don't dead after 3 months.
-Switches working properly more than 6 months.
-Fastest OS which never wait more than an entire bar before playing a fill.
-Fastest Songbook operation when I want to start a midifile after using a style.
...
I just would like to have a real professionnal keyboard. ;)

I would like to see more rugged plastic pushbuttons. This seems to be the item I have problems with on both my PA-800's. Otherwise the PA-800 fills my requirements very nicely.
