Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to set up my X5D to make patch changes in soft synths than I run in Cubase 4.
On some of the synths the patch changes work ok via the 'yes/no' buttons but others don't - Absynth being one of them.
Not being technical myself I'm a bit stumped with this.
Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

Some soft synths simply don't respond to program changes and there's nothing you can do about it...

... and some you have to ask politely.
Since the X5 appears to be sending patch change correctly, you may want to check the soft-synth's help sections to see if patch change IS supported and IF it needs to be enabled. If it supports patch changes but the default setting is NO, a simple click could solve the problem. And if it's NOT supported you cna look for another solution.
