I just spent $2300 on the XF that I would've held on to if Korg had already made an announcement ( if ) they are realeasing something that's worth the wait...hopefully something with flash memory...but NOOO !! Korg is always very tight lipped about their releases,..so Korg, take note...Like me their's probably hundreds out there that would've waited and held on to the $ they spent on the XF if only you had given us a little something ..

But there are others who will purchase an M3 in the meantime instead of holding out for its replacement.

320MB RAM?
THis is a bad joke that it's already history...
HOW MANY YEARS ARE FROM THE LAST WORKSTATION RELEASE?
"TWO-MANY" YEARS
Let's say it...
Korg NEEDS a new release...
Maybe more..
Some people waits for M4 , some for PA3x, some for PA900...

.....I have the M3 and really like it a lot but having to wait for all four EX-USB-PCM to load and on top of that my own samples it can get a little annoying..
korg namm 2011...

I'm in the same situation as most dealing with this countdown...
I will have the $2399 ready to purchase the Yamaha Motif XF6 on November 19th, I just wish it would be a KORG instead. Most situations manufacturers show the new product at NAMM but it isn't available until months AFTER NAMM. Either way it looks like I am going to get the XF6. It's specs are AMAZING!!!
I still will be using the KORG TRITON PRO as my master to control the XF6, Access Virus Indigo 2 Redback, Roland JX-3P, JX-8P & Korg Z1....
I hope to all heaven they don't blow the XF6 away with a new release...
(for some reason I don't think they will, but no hints makes my decision a little more confident)
My wife is in my band with me & she has put a STOP to trading & selling of synthesizers! (for both of our studio & bank account) This time I am ACTUALLY gonna keep what I have! So it had better be good!
I do have to say to all of my synth friends here @ Korg Forums-
I love ANALOG synths from the '70's & '80's @ the STRING SYNTHS they have on the XF6 are incredible! They actually sound like ARP SOLINAs,
Crumar Performer & Roland RS-09s!!! And the ARP QUADRA pads are to die for!!! So, needless to say- I am really excited!

As it was seid some people wait for m3, some for PA3x
of couse there are some idiots wich wait for ps60x
but there are many proffesionals who wait for Oasys 2.
p.s.
In facts i guees Yamaha Tyros series are some kind of Oasys but an aranger Oasys..... and Yamaha makes and sells thouse keyboard really well...
So i guess there is no excuse not to make an Oasys 2 for Korg

Korg are working for Apple now. They have already released two software packages for Apple's i-jerkoff-pad.
Korg sold out on Oasys owners by ceasing further software development for the Oasys and setting up software development for Apple products.
Korg claimed that the current economic climate was responsible for them abandoning further software development for the Oasys but they have funds to develop software for Apple products. What a contradiction.
Dont expect anything from Korg unless you own Apple hardware.

I don't find it wrong that Korg develops software for apple, because what is inside in latest korgs hardware is the software anyway. Korg just eliminates the need for assembling hardware - this is done by other manufactures. Nothing wrong here as long it is functional. But in my opinion it is not fair to market that this software is not available for other platforms, because, maybe in US apple has significant market share, but in the rest of the world apple is still exclusive and some models such as iPad even not available legally in many markets - this is the problem!
