Chords trigger pads

Post by Run »

Hi, I like using the M50 chord trigger pads for complex chords but I'd like to get more without buying Karma. Does any hardware chord trigger pad exist on the market that could be directly plugged in the M50 via USB or Midi without using any computer? I've made a search on the net without any results.

Thanks. :?:

USB is merely a midi interface with part of the implementation running as a driver on the computer, so you won't have any interaction with any device connected through USB if is not a computer.

You can connect any MIDI controller to the MIDI in socket and use it to interact with the M50, but I'm not sure if there are chord trigger pad controllers. I know there are pads and controller keyboards, but to play chords I think you got to use RPPR.

"but to play chords I think you got to use RPPR."
Thanks for helping but after searching in the pameter guide I didn't find anything explaining how to use RPPR to trigger chords. :!:

Exactly what I meant. I said "I think", and since Korg workstations have several ways of doing things, I thought it could be done that way. I have never done it myself or researched on the subject.

Let me take a look at it on the keyboard itself and I'll get back to you.
