Saving modified programs to SD card on TR?

I use my TR primarily for live performance and am trying to find a way to save edited programs so that the original, internal memory programs remain but I can easily access my modified patch. As you know there isn't any real space on the internal memory to create new patches (there's the one blank patch in the D bank, but that's it).

So I was wondering if it is possible to edit a program saved to internal memory and then save the edited version, perhaps to an SD card, without overwriting the internal memory version of the program.

I was also wondering if it's possible to add additional banks with external media so that sounds saved to them can be easily accessed during live performance?

Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated! I want to preserve my keyboards internal memory but also want to be able to experiment and create new sounds.

Best,
J

The TR is not Triton Classic/Extreme/Studio.
TR doesn't have "E" bank, so if you want to load a patch from your pcg files (from SD card) you have to owerwrite a factory preset in one of the TR's bank. The TR can't use any data directly from SD card, just after you loaded it into the TR's memory.
The TR's edit puffers (in program/combi mode) can't save induvidually to the SD card. You have to save/owerwrite a program, and then you can save that replaced program by bank.

Anyway you can restore any factory preset from Global menu.

My oppinion to you: select the factory presets what you don't want to use, and owerwrite it bravely ;)
