Test mode?

What is test mode and how does it work?
After power up, test mode is entered with holding function, exit, 5, enter simultaneously.
never tried it. You have to connect midi in and midi out,
same for S/P dif in and out (with optical cable)
all USB ports need to have a stick in them
Calibration is entered with:
exit 2 enter function !!
For that I have the pdf.
