I just went to the music store and jammed out on a korg sp 350 ( digital piano ) with rh3 to get a feel for the m3 in my near future. aside from almost liking the casio privias hammer action keybed better... but .. all things aside. i noticed that when playing the sp-350 the stereo action was so good. it sounded like the sound was coming out of each key . i dont know how else to describe it. it was much more than the bass was on the left and the highs were on the right. i could pinpoint the keys location purely by sound it was amazing. using the M3 would i lose this ? would headphones be best ? or monitors? where is proper placement to achieve this?

thanx!

Get yourself some powered studio monitor speakers, and place them directly behind each corner of the M3 pointing at you. Depending on your budget (e.g. Alesis M1's, M-Audo, Kurzweil KS's, KRK's, Genelec, Dynaudio etc) you'll get a much better sound and stereo image than using some PC or hifi speakers.
