New Radias owner, wrapped my head around it WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY quicker then i would've EVER imagined. However since im not in a band ATM (just quit two weeks ago..) im sitting in my studio just doing some fun covers myself and with friends :)

As i love recreating sounds from artist that could be useful (and gives me cool bragging rights) I would love some old analog sounds from say... rush... that i could just download and put it on...
Is there such a site? service? section? anywhere where i could find recreations of artist sounds? namely rush....

thanks in advance!

so you like to recreate sounds... but you want to find and download them.

One of the presets, I think its called Sweep Bass (someone can correct me if wrong) ... is basically the intro to Tom Sawyer. You can use any Moog or Oberheim preset as a starting point and tweak and save multiple versions / stopping points as timbres or programs. That's what makes the RADIAS so great: having all those knobs!!

...So what you really mean is that you like to get other people to recreate the sound for you, and then you play it and take all the credit?

I hope you're joking. Is it so wrong to want some famous sounds (like the lead sounds kevin moore uses) to just download and play for myself and when i jam some covers with friends?

I'm not trying to take 'credit' for anything.
I love creating my own sounds, and sometimes i hear a patch an artist uses and say "s**t... thats a nice one.. i wish i had that" I dont see anything wrong with that, usually ill do it myself, then upload online for free for other community members to download for free.

However sometimes, especially since im new to the radias and need some inspiration on how to program some things, i would like to see what i can find online in terms of famous sounds to download.
Eventually, ill be posting my own patches online for people to use, not just personal ones, but probably some song specific ones.

so thank you for your reply, but no, not taking credit for s**t. Just trying to have a little fun here. I see you're very welcome to people who are actually TRYING to be an active member in this forum.

I do apologise. Really.

My post was mainly based on the point that from your previous posts it appears that you were not interested at all and using the term 'create' to refer to just playing the patches.

My point (and that of others who have posted here) is that you're more likely to get help to make the patch yourself than to just get someone to do it for you - where's the fun in that?

And you'll learn more by asking others to help you to build a specific patch rather than just download it from somewhere.
