m3 73 w/ nord rack

hi guys i'm gonna buy some new gear soon and i'm seriously considering buying a m3 73 and racking a nord lead 2x rack to it and running the nord through the m3's effects. i'm also considering an m3 with exb radias but i really like the knobbage and simplicity of the nord :D plus it is my understanding that it would probably be better than a radias for me as i play progressive rock/metal and need a really strong lead sound.
has anyone racked a nord to their m3? some insight on whether you think its a good/bad idea would also be greatly appreciated.

ps. in the type of music i play i would probably be playing one sound at a time so i was thinking loading up a bunch of songs in sec mode with some coming from the nord would work fine :) ie. the integration of an exb radias probably won't help me much

thanks

not.

The m3 a/d and d/a and between don't have much headroom for processing a fat, full, complex external sound.

Internal radias sounds would sound better than a mangled nord.

Keep the two PARALLEL, send both the m3 and the nord to a mixer, and process the nord on its own.

the exb radias would add just a little amount to your budget, and it's worth it.

You could have a 3 octaves comping organ on your left hand, a full-keyboard main solo on your nord, and 3 more octaves for a radias-made second quasi-analogue for riffs.

Ort you could go "analogue" both on the right hand solo and the comping.

Once you spend the money for a m3-73 and a nord, adding the exb-radias is a minor expense.

I would also consider the RADIAS-R.

I play a RADIAS and come from a prog rock background (although I now do electro). I've got anything from amazingly modulating subtle pads to harsh soundscapes, noise, and screaming leads from the RADIAS.

I'm also thinking in buying a synth to accompany my M3-61 and am leaning towards the Access Virus TI2 :)
