Re: The New Kronos
Its what most expected mainly based on Oasys technollogy with Karma 3.0 on board...
Now lets see if it comes close to the overall sound quallity of the Oasys while staying near the price of an M3.

Well, ive got my oasys here beside me and it looks quite similar in the layout. No pads though
My initial feelings are that this is to the oasys, what the triton extrme was to the triton Studio. Could be well wrong though.

From the looks of it, it looks like they dropped the 'Komponent' system. Coming from somebody who's half blind and appreciated how you could tilt the M3 so that the screen was closer to your face/eyes, that sucks
Also, they forgot to throw in an FM synth engine along with the kitchen sink

do you guys have any idea whats happening??
A comment in the synthgear.com page: "Disappointed really. They discontinued OASYS, stopped developping open architecture synthesis, and now they come back with carbon copy probably not open architecture."TSUNAMI wrote:No reason why not they had touch sensitive ribbon back on the Trinity and Prophecy 10+ years ago !!!

Great beast from the specs, new features like the 8-layer piano and KARMA 3 mixed with excellent existing modules from the Korg labs + appealing dirt-resistant design w/o any experiments + a great product name.
I'm glad there is no need to change over to the yammie camp
