You could be right Lee , it certainly LOOKS like it's going to be a solid price....I am waiting to see the full specs.

It will need to be pretty special because as you hinted at, the PA2x is still a killer machine!!

Plenty of info for the Kronos, not much on the PA yet...

Actually I have got some information from a source, which works with korg products, about the price for pa3x.

The price list i got was like this:

Pa3X Pro 61 keys: 2,999 Euro

Pa3X Pro 76 keys: 3,199 Euro

About th same price as a Yamaha T4..BUT you can buy a T4 in the US for $ 3,300.
We will have to see what a PA3 costs.....

So, when do you think they will announce the PA3XPro module?
Ciao,
Jerry

ah, that's what I need with a Korg Logo ... . I like the unit very much so, but I dont' think it's user programmable for creating styles. It's probably very limited in that area. By the way, did Roland introduce a new arranger keybaord today?

Hi Sam,
yeh, I'd like to see one with a Korg logo also.

Failing that, the Roland may have to do. I've been wanting an arranger module for my digital piano.

Unfortunately nothing about editing styles. The guy does mention something about playing styles from USB stick, yet none of the literature seems to mention it. If it does, EMC MIGHT be an option for style editing, depending on
1. IF it can actually play style from USB stick
2. What format of Roland style it can play from the stick.

Big ommision if it can't play a user style.

I was sort of looking at getting a Roland SD50 or Sonic Cell module to go with my Band in a Box software and even considering the mp3 option for my PA800.

Might sort of kill 3 birds with one stone, with th BK-7m.
Additional styles ( hopefully user styles as well)
Roland Sounds for BIAB
MP3 Playback.

Certainly not a replacement for my PA800, just a bit more convenient for midi-ing tro my piano.

No new Roland arranger as far as I'm aware.
