Trinity Rack with Zoom or Tascam recorder

Hi,
I don't use a computer when trying to record. (I'm a little hard headed) Besides the Rack I also have an Oasys.
If I get a Zoom or Tascam recorder is it possible to record Combis onto a stereo track (1 & 2); then record another Combi onto another stereo track (3 & 4) etc.?
If it's possible, then I can use the Oasys and record 15 part Combis onto one track then another multi part Combi onto another track.
I know Mike Conway did tutorial on using a few Combis in a sequence, but this seems easier. Would the audio be affected if I use a 24 bit recorder?
Thanks
